yesterday

Yesterday (Wednesday) we woke to 4-5 inches of snow. I thought the trees looked cool- the snow plopped off them all day. School was closed and Gus had his buddy Mac over almost all day. Even though the snow wasn't good for sledding, we walked to the park just to get some fresh air.

Mac and Gus (sounds like a sitcom, no?)

This may be my last post alive since apparently we're going to be buried in snow tomorrow. Thas' ok, we have an entire chicken, chili fixins, hot chocolate, lots of booze and Superbowl plans, so we're good to go. Let it snow.

snowed last weekend

Gus "helping" Tim shovel the sidewwalk.

"Gus, what are you doing???"

I showed G these pictures last night and he laughed and laughed and wanted to see them repeatedly. Tim and I could tell that Gus felt really bad about undoing Tim's work. This type of incident (Gus undoing our work) happens about 15x/day. He laughs his head off every time and I just consider myself lucky that he doesn't do this type of stuff even more than he already does.

dusting off the ole' blog

In no particular order:

The fabulous gingerbread house G made at school. What a vision.

The one he made for Christmas with Boppie. Not bad for a $7 kit from Michaels.

Gus's first time sledding (mine, too). We went with friends from the neighborhood and had a blast.

Rainbow (yep, you read that right) umbrella from Santa. This is a week after the big 18" snow right before Christmas.

"Take a picture of my big snowball".
